Offering Customized Lawn Fertilization Service & Turf
Consultation
I approach this service with
the philosophy that every customer and every yard is
unique.
Lawn Fertilization Service needs differ. Where one
treatment service might be good for one customer and their
lawn, they might not be a correct fit for another one. That's
why we may be a better choice for you and your yard's unique
situation.
*Application Rates below
apply if you sign on for a minimum of 4 basic treatments per
year; a minimum of 4 treatments per year is required.
Lawn
Consultations - $60/visit (per hour, $60 minimum, at your
service). During the work day, I will personally come
by and do a visual assessment of the situation. You do
not have to be present. Please describe the challenges
that you are having and I will report to you in writing what
I think you should do. Be advised that I may recommend
a contractor other than my company to do the service.
If you decide to go with at least 4 basic treatments per
year, this consultation fee will be waived a little on each
treatment ($15/treatment waived as billed if you commit to
the 4 step treatment program)
Fall to Winter -
Lawn
Lime application to balance pH, particularly for acidic
soil - $65
February - We apply
Pre-emergent
to prevent those
early spring weeds (helps
prevent weeds in beds too, mulch recommended) - $65
April -
Weed & Feed is applied to feed the hungry new growth
and further prevent weeds - $65
Summer
Fertilization to keep the lawn green and growing
in the hot season - $65
Spot
Herbicide Weed
Treatments (roundup pro), mostly for stubborn
broadleaf weeds - $65 buys 2 gallons and a maximum of 1 man hour
of labor to apply. This will most assuredly kill weeds
such as dandelions but it will also affect the healthy grass
in the immediate spot area.
Post Emergent
Spray Treatment for weeds that have already sprouted - $95
Winterization (winter weed pre-emergent) Treatment to
prevent winter and early spring weeds - $65
The treatments
described above applies to average size yards who's turf is 10,000 sq
feet or less
These
treatments are only a PART of a comprehensive battle against
weeds. The effort towards a greener, more lush turf
also should include proper
lawn mowing service, bagging sometimes and mulch mowing
other times, refraining from mowing when it is too hot or
dry, core aerating, maintaining a proper watering schedule
and a
sprinkler system that functions properly. Other
factors that affect the success of any treatment program
include the presence of dogs, foot traffic, and having the
proper
types of grasses for your unique yard.
